Hi, I’m Joseph S. Agube, popular as José Agube. I started JoséArtes as something I did for leisure. I have been passionate about arts from childhood. I started sketching from primary school, back then I'd sketch anything I found worthy whenever I was bored or high on emotions - joy or anger. Initially I didn't consider going professional at that time. After secondary school education while waiting to be admitted into the university, I started drawing a lot more and I took self-taught classes to improve my skills. While investing in my skills, I was rewarded with better arts which garnered considerable attention from my considerable fan base at that time. This attention spurred me on and since arts is something I'm passionate about, I drew more. After a while of experimenting, I settled into making mostly portraits although occasionally chipping in with full bodied photos. I made portraits of a few famous faces, local and international, of which American hip-hop artist Jermaine Cole (J. Cole) remains my most shared work at the moment.
